The Soapbox was pleased to offer a couple of zine making workshops as part of a book-themed series at the Lillian Marrero branch of the Free Library, located in Kensington – taking place in the Library’s Maker Space. Several weeks ago, Dre Grigoropol lead a series of young people in creating their own mini-fold zines – which are now part of The Soapbox’s library collection.
This past Saturday, Jenn Pascoe facilitated a family workshop that included zine making and printmaking techniques. (Thanks, Jenn, for posting photos on Instagram!)
